As our Managing Partner, Bruce has been working within the consumer products industry for the last 25 years. He spent 13 years working on the client side with Wrigley's and Abbott Laboratories in positions including Sales, Key Account Management, Trade/Customer Marketing, Category Management, Brand Management and National Sales leadership for Canada. In 1998, he returned to Vancouver and began working in executive search with a large national search firm specializing in all positions related to the consumer product industry. In short, he's walked many a mile in your shoes.
An alumnus of the University of Alberta, Bruce has an in-depth understanding of all positions within a company's sales, marketing and management structure. No other recruiter in Western Canada possesses this unique combination of corporate and recruiting experience.

Jeff Danis - Vancouver
Originally from Thunder Bay, Jeff has been a mainstay in the industrial sector for the last 30 years. He spent 23 years in the pulp and paper industry working with two of the largest manufacturers, Metso and Voith. Jeff has worked in a variety of areas including design, project management, technical sales, people management and manufacturing management eventually moving to the west coast in 1990. In 2006, Jeff switched gears and joined a national search firm working solely in industrial sales and operations.
Those that know Jeff, candidates and clients alike, will admit that he has earned an exceptional reputation founded on his in-depth market knowledge and that intangible “trust” factor. Trevor Baker - Vancouver
A University of Western Ontario graduate who grew up in British Columbia, Trevor knows the Regional nuances and character that make the West so dynamic. With a 15 year career spanning organizations such as Labatt, SC Johnson, Canada Export Center and Roche Diagnostics; in roles ranging from Sales Representative to Director, Trevor can relate to your needs, whether as a client or a candidate.
As a Senior Consultant in Vancouver, Trevor will conduct searches in a variety of areas including CPG, Beverage Alcohol, Food Service and Healthcare across British Columbia.
Trevor’s free time is spent training for Triathlon, participating in community events such as the Ride to Conquer Cancer and with his very active family.

Andrew Philip - Vancouver
A long time Vancouverite, Andrew graduated from the University of Western Ontario and launched into a 16 year career in the Beverage Alcohol industry. He rose up the ranks from Field Sales, Senior Brand Marketing and Regional Management with E&J Gallo, Cascadia Brands and Corby Distilleries. In 2007, after having good perspective as both a candidate and a client, Andrew joined the Recruitment industry, working for two Vancouver firms before opening his own niche search company in 2011. This ultimately led to his joining the team at MacDonald Search Group.
Andrew has used his career background, and a disciplined, resourceful and tenacious recruiting approach to manage many challenging search projects from entry level to senior management in a wide range of industry sectors including Industrial, B2B, Consumer Products, Building Materials, and Real Estate Development and Construction. Kevin Pedersen - Calgary
After graduating from Simon Fraser University, Kevin relocated to Calgary where he has spent the majority of his working life. His career has spanned 17 years in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry with Tier One companies such as General Mills, National Sea Products, and Nestle. Through a broad range of responsibilities from Field Representative to National Trade and Product Marketing, Kevin's background in CPG is substantial. Kevin left the packaged goods industry to become a principal owner in a manufacturing company managing their sales and marketing to a global agency network. After successfully selling the company, Kevin indulged his long held desire to put his skills to use in the world of professional recruiting with a national recruitment firm.
With Kevin's background in CPG, Manufacturing, and Recruiting, he brings to MacDonald Search Group a strong understanding of the Oil and Gas infrastructure of Alberta, years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry and the perspective of a small business owner. His unique position in the Calgary market will make him a valued resource for any client or candidate.
Kevin is familiar with keeping multiple balls in the air as he is the proud father of three university students and as a coach and volunteer with Calgary Minor Soccer.
