Biographie
Summer Scott is an emerging Graphic Designer and creative storyteller currently completing a Bachelor of Design (Graphic Design) at Ontario College of Art and Design University (OCAD U). Combining formal design training with hands-on experience in digital content creation, Summer brings a fresh perspective to branding, visual communication, and audience engagement.
As Graphic Designer and Copywriter with MacDonald Search Group, Summer supports the development of recruitment marketing campaigns, social media content, employer branding materials, candidate presentations, and digital communications that help connect exceptional talent with leading organizations across Canada. Her expertise includes Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, typography, and visual storytelling, allowing her to create compelling content that is both visually engaging and strategically aligned with business objectives.
Outside of her academic studies, Summer contributes her design talents as a volunteer with the Alliance for Cancer Care Equity, creating awareness-focused social media content that educates and engages diverse audiences. This experience has strengthened her ability to communicate complex messages in a clear, impactful, and audience-focused manner.
Passionate about graphic design, content creation, digital marketing, and creative problem-solving, Summer is dedicated to helping organizations strengthen their brand presence and tell meaningful stories that resonate with clients, candidates, and communities.
