Account Manager - Sports Technology


MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our sports technology client to find a first-class Account Manager to join their team in Ontario (Hybrid WFH anywhere in Southern Ontario with 1x monthly working at head office).

The primary responsibility of this role will be to manage and grow a portfolio of event and hospitality partners by delivering exceptional service, strategic guidance, and measurable year-over-year revenue growth.


Some of what you will do in this role includes:

- Build and manage long-term relationships with event organizers and hotel partners as their primary point of contact
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive increased room nights, reservations, and platform adoption
- Conduct regular partner business reviews to evaluate performance, satisfaction, and growth opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver on client commitments and resolve escalations effectively
- Provide training and guidance to partners on software tools to maximize utilization and business impact


You should have the following in your background to apply:

- 5+ years of account management experience in sports, technology, hospitality, or marketing environments
- Demonstrated success growing and retaining key accounts through consultative relationship management
- Strong presentation, communication, and client-facing skills with a professional, polished approach
- Experience working with CRM platforms and managing a structured book of business
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
