We are working with a well-established, diverse and growing, Vancouver based property management firm seeking a full-time Construction Manager for their residential buildings in Lower Mainland area.
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced construction maintenance person to grow and learn in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all major capital expenses for all buildings managed
- Plan and budget all major capital expenses
- Organize all renovations for all common areas and major capex projects for all buildings
- Work with operations manager for any pending repair issues
- Supervise all staff when needed
- Supervise all contractors when needed
- Handle tenant issues (i.e., Repairs and maintenance)
- Construction material delivery when needed
- Work with the management team when needed
- 5+ years in construction and project management
- Ability work lead a team and coordinate and work with sub contractors
- Trades background is beneficial
- Strong communicator and ability to lead projects
