Life & Financial Producer
MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our insurance brokerage client to find a first-class Life & Financial Producer to join their team in Ottawa, Ontario (hybrid / remote). The primary responsibility of this role will be to build, grow, and retain a profitable book of life, health, and financial insurance business while acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Prospect, generate, and close new life, health, and financial insurance business
  • Build and manage your own book of business with a strong focus on retention and renewals
  • Recommend tailored coverage solutions based on each client’s needs and goals
  • Deliver a seamless, professional client experience from quote through policy placement
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities across the brokerage’s full product offering
You should have the following in your background to apply:
  • Valid LLQP license with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Life & Health insurance sales
  • Proven sales performance, including at least $15,000 FYC in each of the past two years
  • Strong knowledge of life and financial products (life insurance, segregated funds, group benefits, retirement planning)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong prospecting, closing, and relationship-building skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems and modern digital sales tools
