Our client is a global leader in their space with an awesome clothing brand. They are looking for a logistics specialist to join and support their import / export and distribution operations.
In office - Surrey, BC based.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate international shipments (air, ocean, and courier) and ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and on-time delivery.
- Track shipments, resolve issues, and support customs clearance with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
- Monitor logistics KPIs, carrier performance, freight spend, and prepare performance reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Provide day-to-day guidance to Logistics Coordinators, manage escalations, balance workloads, and support training.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain logistics records, reporting tools, meeting coordination, and administrative support.
- Post secondary in supply chain, operations or related
- 3 years+ experience in freight forwarding, import/export, and customs compliance
- Experience with air and ocean transportation, trucking, Canada and US Customs
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs rules and regulations
- Can work in high pressure environment with strong attention to detail
