MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our internet services client to find a first-class Marketing Data Analyst to join their team in Ottawa, ON. The primary responsibility of this role will be to translate marketing and business data into actionable insights that guide strategy, optimize campaigns, and support growth initiatives.

- Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and performance reports to support strategic decision-making
- Analyze campaign performance and digital channel metrics to identify trends and optimization opportunities
- Evaluate marketing effectiveness using analytical techniques such as attribution models and marketing mix analysis
- Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to present insights that influence business and marketing strategy
- Support A/B testing initiatives, website analytics, and customer journey optimization using tools such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- 7+ years of experience in a data analytics or marketing analytics role
- Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, Excel, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Qlik
- Experience working with web analytics platforms including GA4 and Tag Manager
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, business, or a related discipline
