You're optimistic, hard working, competitive and have a need to achieve that helps you stay focused when working remotely. This role is BC, with most of your time spent is in Lower Mainland but there will be some overnight travel to Vancouver Island, the Interior and Northern BC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for selling chemicals and equipment as well as presenting solutions to our clients and prospects. This role is remote.

Target and Build
  • Gain new business in conjunction with our strategic initiatives
  • Grow breadth and depth of product sales at existing distributors and end users
  • Perform hands on & virtual demonstrations of the chemical and equipment offerings to new and existing customers
Support:
  • Provide after sales service, installation and support distributors and end users
  • Provide distributor and end user training in person and online.
  • Book, setup and attend trade shows as required
Track:
  • Document activities and results as required.
  • Maintain a current database of all accounts and their respective requirements in your assigned territory through Salesforce.
  • Meet and surpass sales targets established for each distributor

Knowledge, Skills and Education:
This position requires the candidate to lead by example and be responsible for supporting the team in achieving strategic objectives as set forth by the organization. Additional requirements include:
  • Strong consultative selling skills
  • Spoken, written and ability to fully communicate and present
  • Knowledge and experience in chemical and equipment products
  • Highly motivated to achieve targets
  • Experience in sales (4 years min.)
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
Education:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset, not a requirement
  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP, Canadian Professional Sales Association) is an asset.
  • Industry certifications (CIMS, I.C.E., GBAC, or others) are an asset

Operational Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license & vehicle
  • Able and willing to work extended hours as required.
