We’re partnering with a client in the residential construction industry seeking a Senior Paralegal to join their Edmonton team. In this key role, you’ll support the legal operations of a leading residential developer, providing expertise in real estate transactions, contract management, compliance, and risk mitigation. Working closely with internal teams, senior leadership, and external counsel, you’ll help ensure legal processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide legal guidance on contracts, real estate transactions, and compliance matters.
  • Manage litigation activity and coordinate with external counsel.
  • Maintain builder licensing, registrations, and warranty compliance.
  • Lead and mentor legal team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents, contracts, and internal policies.
  • Support cross-functional teams on development, financing, and operational initiatives.
  • Develop and implement internal legal policies and training programs.
  • Drive process improvements and support legal technology adoption to enhance efficiency.
Who You Are:
  • Diploma or Degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Assistant, or Business Administration.
  • 6+ years of progressive paralegal experience, preferably in real estate or construction law.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, real estate transactions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to advise stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in legal document management and process automation tools.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proven leadership ability with a focus on collaboration and team development.
