Some of what you will do in this role includes:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive business growth.
- Promote insulated metal panel and door solutions to architects, consultants, engineers, and end users.
- Participate in Lunch & Learn sessions and presentations to increase product awareness and specifications.
- Identify and convert specification opportunities into sales projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including project management, inside sales, and production teams.
- Support the sales process from project design through completion.
- Achieve sales objectives by executing targeted business development strategies.
- Maintain accurate reporting of activities and progress to sales management.
- 5 to 7 years of experience with a building products manufacturer, ideally related to food processing or cold storage applications.
- Degree in project management, construction, architecture, industrial refrigeration, or a related field.
- Experience managing specification activities and working with commercial or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of insulated metal panel systems and familiarity with refrigeration or cold storage environments.
- Understanding of construction project dynamics among owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
- Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and reading construction plans is considered an asset.
