This individual will play a critical role in shaping operational strategy, scaling infrastructure, and strengthening national vendor relationships. The ideal candidate brings deep operational experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to drive performance through process excellence and people development.
What you'll do:
- Lead and mentor the Procurement and Customer Service leaders, ensuring operational alignment and accountability.
- Oversee vendor performance, contract compliance, and the continued growth of the company's national vendor network.
- Act as a subject matter expert on waste management practices and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with the executive team on strategic planning, operational initiatives, and long-term growth strategies.
- Champion process improvement, cross-departmental collaboration, and a culture of operational excellence.
- Provide executive-level support in resolving escalations and managing complex client challenges.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in client-facing operations, ideally within waste management, recycling, logistics, or environmental services.
- Proven success leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong background in operational strategy, process improvement, and organizational scaling.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
