MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our Electrical distribution client to find a first class Account Manager to join their team in Ottawa. The primary responsibility of this role will be to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify customer needs, promote electrical products, and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical solutions and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Analyze market trends and account data to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and deliver professional presentations to promote products and services.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of electrical products, systems, and industry trends.
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales goals.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred); bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
