Food Service Key Account Manager

As an Account Manager in this Food Service organization, you will be responsible for establishing and achieving the annual volume targets with specific regional foodservice chains and selected distributors in the Vancouver foodservice market.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Development of annual business plans to support annual sales goals, revenue and volume targets with existing accounts
  • Identification and development of new business opportunities with hospitality chains
  • Introduction and exploitation of new listings opportunities and development of category business with regional food service distributors such as GFS and Sysco
  • Provide strategic direction on potential new channel opportunities aimed at driving incremental volume
  • Effectively manage trade spend and customer relationships with distributors and accounts
To apply, you should have most of the following in your background:
  • Post-Secondary Education
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Food service Sales
  • Key Account Management experience
  • Excellent customer service ethic
  • Strong understanding of business financials related to annual planning
  • Solution selling mindset while maintaining strong planning, analytical, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in selling both private label and nationally branded products
