Job Description – Account Sales Executive

Our client is a family-run importer of high quality consumer food products ranging from beverages, to commodity grains, to snack foods and spices. The products are brought to Canada and sold across the country to accounts from Loblaws and Sobeys, to Georgia Main and London Drugs. Due to high growth in their sales performance, our client is seeking a strong Account Sales Executive to assist them in the continuation of their sales process to their customers across the country.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Planning the route to market for all product offerings
  • Working with accounts across the country to introduce new product listings and create a sales investment strategy to move products
  • Use market analysis tools to determine future product offering plans
  • Manage inventory levels
  • Create promotional strategies to drive products to market
  • Hustle promo opportunities and specialty products into the market in a timely manner
To apply you should have the following in your background:
  • 3+ years in the CPG business
  • Experience managing a diverse product portfolio, with some experience in food and CPG products
  • Strong communication skills and good business discipline
  • Very organized with good time management skills
  • Good analytically, with good Excel knowledge
  • Legally able to work in Canada and currently living in the Vancouver area with the ability to work at an office in Burnaby and travel up to 15% of the time; some flexibility for remote work from home
