Our client is an established manufacturing company in the Strathmore area is seeking a General Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Controller, this role will support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end processes while ensuring accurate financial records and strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
  • Assist with financial analysis and tracking against operational performance
  • Support audit preparation and compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience with Sage Intacct is considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills
