Our client is a well recognized global Consumer Products company with their Canadian Head Office based in the GTA. They are presently seeking an ACCOUNTING ANALYST to join the Finance team.

Some of what you will do includes:

Review Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (and aging) as required
Assist in the month end closes, journal entries, reconciliations etc. Backup for the Accounting Manager
Financial analysis/evaluation and strategic input to all commercial spends: Co-op, Trade, PDP etc
Preparation of month end reports: inventory status, variance analysis etc
Participate in year end audits, cross functional training opportunity

Your experience should include:

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong understanding of Excel and financial systems. AS400 experience is an asset.
Post-secondary education in finance or accounting
CPA or working towards a CPA
2-3 years of accounting experience
