MacDonald Search Group is pleased to partner with a thriving company in the 3rd party logistics industry in their search for an Administration Services Manager to join their team. Our client works with some of the most prominent food manufacturers in British Columbia and through steady growth of their local operations and expansion into other provinces, they will be continuing to expand at a rapid pace. Over the next year, in addition to overseeing front end operations, you will help to ensure a smooth transition as the company expands into an additional facility also located in the Fraser Valley.

What you will be doing:
  • Working closely with management to maintain/organize front end operations and fulfilling office needs
  • Supervising office staff and assigning tasks among the team
  • Maintaining communication between departments and staff members
  • Overseeing and monitoring Accounts Payable
  • Month end duties
  • HR responsibilities including;
  • Managing new and current employee file
  • Performance reviews
  • Managing employee relations, issues and complaints
  • Ensuring accurate attendance records and payroll time sheets
  • Providing excellent customer service & effective solutions to customer concerns
  • General office responsibilities such as overseeing the office supply inventory and ensuring quick and effective solutions to IT issues
  • New client set-ups
  • Supporting management with creating and reviewing key business objectives and identifying order of priorities
  • Enthusiastically participating with the safety committee, ensuring a safe work environment
Requirements;
  • Five years of experience in an office environment
  • Outstanding verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Attention to detail, organized and able to manage time effectively
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • You work well on your own and are a collaborative team member
  • Possess strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Must have a vehicle and valid drivers license (location not transit accessible)
