Our customer, a leading spirits company is seeking an entrepreneurial Area Sales Manager with strong negotiation skills to sell products to existing on and off-premise customers, create new distribution opportunities and manage territory brand initiatives.

This role offers a competitive base salary, 20% bonus, car allowance, RRSP matching, full benefits, vacation and educational allowance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage key accounts, independent locations and on-premise customers within the territory.
  • Implement brand programs to achieve distribution, display, and shelf placement.
  • Craft and deliver effective customer presentations that optimize Company’s ROI in the territory.
  • Foster strong relationships with retail and on-premise customers, industry peers, and community groups for sustainable growth and successful customer engagement.
  • Utilize sales data and CRM tools to analyze account performance, identify volume-boosting opportunities and leverage brand sales for overall portfolio success.
Key Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of alcohol or CPG sales experience with high professionalism
  • Familiarity with LCBO/AGCO liquor regulations, current market trends, and competition
  • University education with strong MS office skills and analytics proficiency
  • Available for evening/weekend work, including trade shows and travel as needed
  • Structured sales approach, exceptional organization, problem-solving, and time management
  • T&E and brands budget management, EZ Focus sales reporting experience
