MacDonald Search Group is actively on the hunt for a Senior Level Production Manager with specific experience within a high-volume beverage production facility. Our client has asked us to help them find someone with a true passion for both people leadership and manufacturing to build and lead a team of people in all things related to the production of canned & bottled beverages.
The right individual will ensure product maintains the highest standards of quality and consistency. This will be a hands-on individual capable of overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations including batch production scheduling, ingredient purchasing, inventory management, have input on equipment repairs/maintenance, quality control and safety.
The right individual will be expected to:
- Manage and carry out all manufacturing operations at the plant
- Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained as well as inventory management
- Employ proper operating, cleaning, and preventative maintenance procedures as well as ensuring standard operating procedures are met
- Assist in training and support of all staff
- Prepare production, monthly inventory and quality assurance reports
Requirements
- Must be a natural leader with excellent experience relating to process and production
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience from soft drink, juice, beer or alcohol production plant. Specific experience from pasteurizing, brewing or distilling would be of GREAT interest.
- A thorough understanding of effective quality management systems, experience in all aspects of sensory analysis and product perception
- Ability to follow operating procedures while carefully documenting and maintaining records
- Ability to multitask and flexible with work schedule
