POSITION: Bilingual Customer Support Coordinator (12-month contract with potential for permanent hire)
LOCATION: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in office in Brampton; 2-3 days/week work from home)

MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global distributor (selling primarily to pharmaceutical, beauty/personal care, food, and industrial product manufacturers) locally based in Brampton who is looking for a French Bilingual Customer Support Coordinator to cover a 12-month maternity leave contract with potential for permanent hire based on strong performance.

This is a HYBRID position (2-3 days/week at home;2-3 days/week in the office) Monday to Friday (no evenings or weekends) from 10am-6pm.

Being a coordinator position, this role is more administrative and support in nature and is not customer facing. Bilingual recent graduates with an administrative skill set will be considered for this position!

BILINGUALISM in French/English is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment:
  • Monitor and manage all customer orders shipping out of both internal and 3PL warehouses
  • Investigate, assist, communicate & resolve any discrepancies with warehouses
  • Effectively communicate any inventory issues/concerns (both internal & external customers) to appropriate personnel
  • Review all shipping documents to ensure requirements and expectations are met and resolve any issues
  • Ability to navigate & retrieve data efficiently from internal systems, as required to manage shipments of customer orders
  • Communicate & assist A/R in resolving customer credit issues
  • Assist with month end closing by taking responsibility to ensure all sales orders are posted and shipped within appropriate month
  • Manage credit requests and follow-up on returns with both internal & external customers
  • Ability to prioritize, communicate and effectively execute all RUSH issues/requests from both customers & LSP
  • Fulfill all sales order documentation requests from both customers & warehouses
  • Attend all pertinent training sessions and department meetings with active participation when required
  • Actively participate in Department projects
  • Obtain and distribute appropriate documentation for all sales orders to appropriate personnel with precision, accuracy and in a timely manner
