Our client, a leading provider of building supplies and accessories is looking for someone to oversee Branch Operations in their Ottawa east location. The ideal candidate is responsible for the management of the store, warehouse, and yard while improving the company's bottom line. This position requires a strong hands-on Branch Operations leader with a take-charge attitude.

  • Supervise and manage the day to day operations staff.
  • Ensure that the yard/warehouse is maintained to company standards.
  • Understand and administer customer service initiatives in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure that all vehicles operate and are maintained following company policies and procedures.
  • Enforce Health & Safety regulations.
  • Work day to day with contractors in the yard.
  • Exceptional people management skills.
  • Strong ability to teach, motivate and lead.
  • Excellent organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to multitask.
  • A highly disciplined individual.
  • Experience in the Building Supplies industry and working with contractors is a strong asset.
  • A career-minded person with a desire to perform at top levels.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Forklift license and asset.
