Brand Manager – Consumer Packaged Goods

Our client is a highly regarded and well-established manufacturer of exceptional quality food products with sales across North America in all retail channels. Due to the growth of their marketing team, they are seeking a talented and dynamic Brand Manager with a love of food and a talent for the marketing discipline.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:

  • Active brand development and a champion of the marketing strategy, ability to develop plans and programs to propel the business
  • An initiator of product development and customer and consumer engagement initiatives
  • The production and dissemination of communications materials, strategies and programs for use by the sales team
  • Ensure effective product launches, promotional activities and campaigns across a wide variety of channels
  • Ensuring consistency of message and deliverables in all outputs of the marketing department to accurately reflect brand positioning and consumer targeting
  • Responsible for analytics on category including sales performance, market dynamics, forecasting, product mix, profitability
  • Work cross functionally with sales, logistics, supply chain and finance
  • Development of category plans to ensure effective management of the four P’s
  • Cooperatively consults on the calendar of promotions, including timing of new product launches
  • Develops marketing forecast assumptions for Supply Chain
  • Assisting in development of the product line strategy through the stages of innovation, from product concept through commercialization and life-cycle management
  • Creation of the best product mix through effective portfolio segmentation and rationalization

In order to apply you should have the following in your background:

  • Post secondary education
  • Brand management with experience in the food space
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a team player
  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines and execution objectives
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience working with digital and social strategies, channel marketing and communication
  • A desire to succeed and a passion for growth and continuous learning
