Opportunity!

Our client is a Hospitality Equipment Funder covering equipment finance for hospitality businesses in all of Canada.

They are looking for Business Development Manager to drive new business development and assist sales leaders in uncovering new opportunities in Eastern Canada. You will do this through general business development and leveraging existing and developing new hospitality relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Cultivates leads from multiple sources, including marketing channels, customer service teams, and channel partners.
  • Takes ownership of managing their own lead pipeline and proactively follows up.
  • Managing customer accounts and generating new sales from existing customers, as well as contacts three, six- and nine-month accounts with available funding for upsell potential.
  • Has a firm understanding of all products and is able to assist the customer with a solution that best fits their financing and equipment and funding needs.
  • Provides knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful service by understanding the needs of both internal and external parties. Effectively resolves any issues and takes appropriate action.
  • Undertake appropriate credit assessment and deal structuring.
Qualification:
  • 3 – 5+ years Inside Sales experience in a New Business Development and/or Account Management capacity.
  • Experience in financial services, hospitality equipment & the foodservice industry highly desirable
  • Proven sales performance record
