Our Client is a highly specialized water management subcontractor dedicated to easing the burden of their customers by expertly handling their water management challenges. With a focus on the safe movement and cleaning of contaminated water from construction and industrial sites, they excel at providing seamless solutions that go unnoticed by the surrounding communities, including the local wildlife. Due to growth, they are adding a Business Development-Bypass Pumping to the team.

Some of what you will do in this role include:
  • Teamwork: Contribute to the performance of the sales team. The team comes first, ahead of the individual.
  • Business Development: Strategize, research, grow & manage sales first in Sediment Control and then across all business lines.
  • Quotes & Proposals: Gather and review project information (e.g. drawings, ESC plans, geotechnical reports), design solution, scope, price, negotiate & close.

You Should Have Most of These in Your Background:
  • 2-5 years of bypass pumping solutions selling within the construction, environmental, oil & gas, or mining industry.
  • Proven success in developing new business, generating sales leads and winning sales.
  • A love of learning technical concepts and a strong interest in the construction industry. An interesting duo of detail orientation and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Hunger to learn, succeed and grow in sales.
  • Humble and self-aware of strengths and areas to improve.
  • Track record of integrity and diplomacy in working with others, at all levels. Ideally, post-secondary education.
