They are looking for a bright, energetic business development person to help drive new business growth. Specific Responsibilities Include:
  • Represent the company in all active business development activities including cold calls, email marketing, telephone sales, networking and face to face meetings as required
  • Follow-up on leads and generate prospects to begin the sales process
  • Strategically develop, schedule and execute sales strategies and win new business
  • Embrace continuous process and personal development
  • Ensure seamless transition of customer responsibility to the service team following initial shipments
  • Roll up your sleeves and just do what needs to get done
What We’re Looking For Includes:
  • Minimum 2+ years in Business Development (must be in LTL Freight cold chain)
  • Exceptional organizational skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Integrity, passion and strong phone and in-person presentation skills
  • Ability to develop relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Driven, self-starting attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Highly evolved time management skills
  • History of winning new business
  • Occasional travel required
