Business Development Sales Representative

As a Business Development Sales Representative you will be responsible for driving sales growth and product recommendations in the geographic region of British Columbia. Working with a leading portfolio of products, you will provide best in class support to potential new B2B client relationships. If you are a well presented, well spoken sales professional with a desire to develop your career in medical sales, then this is the opportunity for you!

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Identify business opportunities and potential new clients and maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with clients
  • Review the commercial interest on an annual basis to insure that price and volume terms are achieved
  • Implement business development programs with clients to motivate their growth
  • Create, plan, and deliver presentations at client accounts or at trade shows or other industry events
  • Analyze sales reports, monitor the development of new products and take any appropriate corrective action
  • Prepare sales activity reports on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Develop and prepare detailed business plans for the territory, by buying group, by client and product
You should have the following to apply
  • Bachelor degree or better
  • 4+ years sales experience in CPG, Bev Alc, Veterinary, Dental, Medical Rx
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to connect socially and professionally with clients and colleagues of all stripes
  • Dynamism and confidence
  • Facility to build strong business relationship
  • Empathy and good listening skills
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
  • Priority management and multi-tasking skills in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
