What you will be doing:

In conjunction with the CEO, define and implement sustainable growth strategy
Set comprehensive goals and evaluate performance
Oversee sales performance and manage expenses
Recruit, train, and motivate employees to deliver their best service
Pragmatic approach to enhance, and consistently execute, all operational processes and procedures
Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of department managers
Manage customer service issues and maintain client base

Who you are:

Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role
Understanding of business functions such as Production, Retail Sales, Inventory Management, Marketing, Finance etc.
Strong aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
Excellent management skills with proven success in people management
Experience in achieving operational efficiencies
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment is important
Experience in the horticultural industry would be an asset
