Medical Clinic Operations Manager

Our client is a quickly growing premium medical clinic based in the City of Vancouver. With a clientele seeking a higher level of health care servicing, this medical facility provides best in class service, interventions and treatments. Due to exceptional growth, they are seeking a skilled Medical Clinic Operations Manager to run the clinic and free the physicians from administrative tasks. Reporting to the founder, this complex role is ideal for the health care administrator looking to make a difference for the patients and for their career.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Staffing and management of employees, recruitment, training, and administration
  • Ensuring effective inventory controls on the sundry product supply
  • Ensuring effective allocation of available resources to maximize efficiency and profit without sacrificing patient care
  • Optimizing all financial relationships including, leases, third party service agreements and vendor partnerships
  • Discovering and implementing new revenue streams where applicable
  • Overseeing marketing initiatives to drive patient traffic
  • Partners with the Medical team to provide a smooth profitable operation by driving revenue and managing costs while creating a clinic culture based on high quality patient care and exceptional customer service
  • Manage, plan and coordinating the overall operations of the clinic, and cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Act as a mentor to the clinical team
  • Seek out, identify and implement best practices in the industry
  • Takes ownership of clinic financial performance
  • Ensuring excellence in patient tracking though a relationship management software
  • Conducts performance reviews with staff
  • Tracks revenue and reports summaries of financial health to management
  • Ensures clinic cleanliness and maintenance
  • Ensuring OSHA compliance as well as any other compliance standards
To apply for this role, you should have most of the following in your background:
  • Post secondary education
  • Experience in a multi-discipline, fast moving health care environment
  • Direct management and supervisory experience
  • Strong financial and operational acumen
  • Ability to manage for profit while ensuring effective patient care
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Self starter, high degree of initiative and a get it done attitude
