Our client, one of the worlds most recognized and trusted brands is looking to add a Commercial Account Manager within the Security Solutions Division based in Vancouver, BC. This role will focus on generating new commercial customers as well as assisting in the retention of existing clients & recurring revenue by developing partner relationships & by providing professional, top-quality service. Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Prospecting, in an organized and diligent manner, active or potential clients, within a given territory or within a certain industry and/or product group in order to introduce them to the diversified product line.
  • Visiting clients, analyzing clients’ needs and proposing system solutions, as well as performing equipment demonstration where required;
  • Preparing sales proposals and delivering sales presentations, completing tenders and bids (including documentation and pricing) for specific products or services using assigned guidelines;
  • Following-up on sales proposals in order to attempt to influence the decision-makers;
  • Following-up with clients after an installation is completed in order to encourage a positive, and on-going relationship;
  • Participating in sales meetings, product knowledge and job training sessions;
  • Recommending and participating in trade shows;

What We’re Looking For Includes:

  • University degree or college diploma in a related field or equivalent field experience
  • Strong IT Security knowledge or related vertical knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years’ successful sales experience in the Commercial Security space
  • Consultative style sales approach
  • Highly motivated, professional and energetic
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license
