Some of what you'll do in this role includes:
- Oversees a team of total rewards specialists and portfolio and aligns team vision, strategy, and outcomes with organizational goals and business needs.
- Develops and prepares all analysis for compensation materials for approval by the board of directors.
- Oversees the research, analysis, and communication for areas of Total Rewards, including compensation, retirement savings, benefits, expatriate benefits, disability, and employee assistance programs. Designs Total Rewards programs and policies focusing on cost-effectiveness as well as market competitiveness.
- Oversees the compensation schedules and ensures that milestones and deadlines are communicated.
- Manages relations with vendors, consultants, and regulatory agencies. Evaluates vendor performance, provides improvement feedback, and makes changes as necessary.
- Designs programs and policies focusing on cost-effectiveness as well as market competitiveness.
- Oversees all education, analysis, and reporting requirements related to Total Rewards. Operates as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PCL, providing education, analysis, and other support as needed.
- Oversees data integrity, reporting and analytics for all HRPD functions enterprise-wide
- Leads the reporting cycles for DRM, monthly sector reporting, and other reports as requested
- Oversees the development and administration of the Total Rewards documentation (guides, FAQs, forms, etc.) in partnership with the Manager, Pension, Benefits and Compliance, ensuring it is relevant, current, and easily accessible.
- Oversees the analysis of market trends, best practices, and the competitive pay of other institutions in the construction industry for operational jobs, and general industry for non-operational jobs.
- Manages the salary and bonus cycles enterprise-wide
- Responsible for the annual Executive Salary Review process, including market analysis and materials for the HR, Compensation, and Nominating Committee and the board of directors.
- Oversees the job evaluation process, ensuring compliance with established procedures; recommends changes to policies and procedures to align with current market trends and legislation.
- Manages the reporting and analytics function for HRPD data.
- Supervises, directs, coaches, trains, and mentors a team, including direct and indirect reports.
