This is a hybrid work position.
Looking for an experienced Controller to join their busy and growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop budgets and forecasts, monitor performance.
- Financial Analysis: Provide insights and recommendations.
- Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Internal Controls: Establish effective controls.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team.
- Financial Systems: Evaluate and maintain financial systems.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic initiatives.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Undertake special projects.
- CPA and related post secondary education
- 3-6+ years in a related position as an accounting leader
- Team leadership experience
- Working in a manufacturing or distribution business
- Strong with analytics and systems
