DATA ANALYST - REGULATORY

The Data Analyst is experienced and skilled in the RAQS (regulatory and Quality) field, which includes familiarity with topics such as SDS, (Classification and Labelling), dangerous goods, customs and handling, HS codes, UN numbers, GHS). The Data analyst has an important role in the organization incorporating our processes, policies, guidelines and responsibilities and then administering the data to be in compliance with system governance, policy and/or regulatory obligations

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • on board product data (item set-up) from trading partners, internal or external systems
  • classify products within a product taxonomy and multiple alternate categorizations;
  • cleanse product data to ensure appropriate classification, standardization and de-duplication;
  • enrich product information with seeded and user defined attributes, digital assets, product relationships and product configurations;
  • localize product data for a specific organization, trading partner or target market;
  • validate and remediate data errors at all points of data consolidation, enrichment and publication;
  • Perform analysis on key compliance parameters to ensure risk mitigation and certificate creation
  • Build and maintain salesforce connection to create user-friendly tool and integrated system
  • govern new product definition and change . processes with flexible and collaborative workflows;
  • Act as a database administrator understanding end-to-end data flows and identifying data dependencies in support of delivery, release, and change management.
  • Accountable for the assessment, delivery, quality, accuracy, and tracking of data fixes.
  • Responsible for data analysis, data profiling, data modeling, and data mapping capabilities.
  • Maintain and monitor clean, standardized and validated product data in systems and
  • coordinates this within the organization to support the business process.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Sc in a technical discipline (chemistry, IT, product safety)
  • Knowledge of the chemical regulatory (GHS, REACH etc), knowledge of food/feed and pharma legislation is preferred
  • Good understanding of IT systems (MS office, ERP systems, SQRL and data analysis)
  • Good knowledge of JD Edwards/ Oracle product management systems is considered a big plus
  • Good knowledge of database administration job functions
  • Communicate with stakeholders efficiently
  • Fluent in English, an additional language is considered a bonus
  • Team player
  • To be mentally flexible and able to switch priorities when desired
