Digital Marketing Coordinator - 18 month contract

Our client is a leader in the food industry, with recognizable brands and products sold in retail outlets across the country. Due to a leave, they are hiring a Digital Marketing Coordinator for an 18 month contract. This role will be responsible for managing and growing the online presence of the company their brands. This includes management of the websites, social media, digital advertising and e-commerce initiatives of the company.

Some of what you will do includes:

  • Develop and execute a digital marketing strategy
  • Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Create and maintain a rich social media presence across all major platforms including Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and other relevant channels
  • Develop and assist with production of content (written, imagery, video) for online use
  • Establish and nurture relationships with consumers, customers and key brand influencers
  • Monitor, engage and actively communicate with online community
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns against goals
  • Manage E-commerce channel with innovative growth strategies
  • Identify trends and insights, optimize spend and performance based on insights
  • Work with marketing team to brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate consumer experience across multiple digital channels and touch points and recommend areas of improvement
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide feedback and recommendations for adoption where appropriate
  • Manage email marketing accounts with campaigns and automations
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams on strategic execution of marketing programs
  • Manage external agency and partner relationships
  • Work alongside web developers and designers to create websites and digital campaigns
  • Manage and update content on all websites
  • Complete projects within allocated budgets and timelines
  • Respond to and follow up on customer feedback and complaints
  • Utilizes platforms to plan and push social content, utilizes platforms to respond, manage and ticket consumer DM and comments

  • Familiar with creating and managing digital ads for performance and optimization.
  • Basic understanding of ecommerce.
  • Basic graphic design skills and an eye for aesthetics
  • Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented
  • Superb writing, content development and editing skills
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable
  • Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Office, Adobe products, Google Analytics, Facebook Business, Instagram, Twitter, Shopify, YouTube and Pinterest
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
