What you will be doing:
  • Managing all aspects of Human Resources with a focus on employee relations, leading recruitment, performance management, training and development
  • Becoming a trusted business partner to management and employees providing guidance on all areas of HR and treating confidential matters with discretion and thoughtful support
  • Helping to develop and promote company culture internally and externally
  • Promoting a collaborative and team focused approach to all matters
  • Developing strategies, policies, and procedures that are aligned with short and long-term business objectives in collaboration with leadership team
  • Advising hiring managers on compensation and benefits strategies
  • Promoting a healthy and safe work environment
  • Providing guidance on career development and succession planning
  • Working with leadership team to map out short and long-term workforce planning
  • Identifying, developing and facilitating training programs
  • Providing guidance on adding technological platforms that will ensure optimal efficiency for the administration of HR concerns
Who you are:
  • You have a degree or diploma in Human Resources or an otherwise relevant area of specialization
  • You have at least five years experience in a strategic Human Resources role
  • You are a natural leader and mentor equally comfortable providing peer advice to the leadership team and guidance to front line employees
  • You are passionate about your career and are knowledgeable about trends and innovations in the field of HR
  • You have outstanding written and spoken communication skills
  • You have a great sense of humour, value integrity, and possess a positive and upbeat attitude
