For over 30 years, our client has been an industry leading Canadian beverage manufacturer and they are currently seeking a Director of Sales.

This role reports into the Executive Vice President, and is responsible for the development and execution of all street sales activities in Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
  • Recruits and hires sales team, and manages performance and development
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
  • Assists sales team in preparation of proposals and presentations
  • Manages budgets and forecasts
Key Qualifications:
  • 5-7+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the foodservice industry
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and inspire a sales team
  • Experience working with/managing distributors
  • Understanding and appreciation for the foodservice industry, including customer base and market dynamics
  • Strong business development and relationship management skills
  • Results-oriented with strong decision-making capabilities based on data and analytics
  • Strong communication, public relations and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence
