In 1977 our client set out to become the benchmark for the engineering instrumentation industry. They have developed innovative geotechnical monitoring instrumentation through constant R&D and product improvements which have been requested by customers in the engineering industry. More than half of all instruments manufactured today are specifically engineered to meet individual project requirements and have been designed with client input following, field-testing or specific project necessities. Their customers' needs for innovative solutions for their problems, drives the organization every day to provide innovative instruments to meet those needs. As the Director of Service, the successful candidate will report to the VP of Engineering and have primary responsibility for customer Support, equipment repair, and the rental shop and the field service teams. You will be based out of the head office in the lower mainland and work with the senior management team to manage customers needs.


Ability to work collaboratively with the Engineering and Design teams.
Support leadership team with business development opportunities for new products.
Ability to Mentor train and develop rental and repair staff and Field Service Teams.
Focus on customer service, Quality, and Safety
Work with field installation teams to assure on-time delivery installation and set up.


High attention to Customer Service and problem-solving.
Process methods, continuous improvements with a service focused approach to the role.
Electronics Instrumentation is a nice to have
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Some travel may be required.
