Who’s actually responsible for getting premium food products from source to shelf—flawlessly?

Not just procurement.
Not just logistics.

The leader connecting it all.

I’m working on a confidential search for a Director of Procurement & Logistics with a premium, high-growth food manufacturer based in Ontario (relocation likely to an amazing part of the Province).

This is a mission-critical leadership role overseeing end-to-end supply chain — from sourcing raw materials and packaging through to national distribution and retail delivery.

This role is for someone who:

  • Owns strategic sourcing + supplier negotiations at scale
  • Understands perishables, food manufacturing, and cold chain logistics
  • Has led 3PLs, transportation networks, and warehousing operations
  • Can balance cost, quality, service levels, and food safety compliance
You’ll be responsible for:
  • Procurement strategy across ingredients, packaging, and co-manufacturing
  • Supplier relationships, contracts, and risk mitigation
  • Logistics network design including inbound, inter-facility, and outbound distribution
  • Inventory control, warehousing (ambient + chilled), and traceability
  • Leading S&OP alignment and cross-functional execution across operations, QA, R&D, and finance
Why this role stands out:
  • High-impact leadership role reporting into senior leadership
  • Opportunity to shape and scale a fully integrated supply chain function
  • Work with a purpose-driven brand focused on quality, sustainability, and growth
  • Real ownership across procurement, logistics, and operational performance
If this sounds like you — or someone in your network — let’s connect.
Confidential conversations always welcome.
