Dispatch Coordinator

Our established and busy client is looking for a Dispatch Coordinator for their active operation, dispatching technicians to service calls. Monday to Friday days.

Based in Ontario.

Responsibilities:
  • Interacting with customers via various communication methods and accurately documenting service needs
  • Prioritize service calls as required
  • Dispatching technicians and tracking service calls
  • Resolve service issues if related to dispatch and respond immediately to resolve technician or customer concerns
  • Schedule service calls, ensuring that service is completed to company standards
  • Dispatch calls to technicians based technician location and customer requirements
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, to ensure that customer needs are met
  • Ensure that various administration duties within the department such as filing and data entry are completed timely and accurately
  • Taking calls from customers to book upcoming service work
  • Other as required
Requirements:
  • Superior organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and systems
  • Ability to build positive relationships with cross functional areas
  • Highly organized with a high level of accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task and think ahead
  • Ability to handle shifting priorities in an extremely busy environment
