E-Commerce Manager

Our outdoor adventure lifestyle client has a robust and growing e-commerce portal for their range of curated lifestyle products that complements their core product line. This high growth category is unique in its space and its market appeal. Due to the incremental sales growth of the business, our client is seeking a strong E-Commerce Manager with experience in Shopify to own the deliverables of this business unit and steer it from its current volume to a factor of several times in both the Business to Business (B2B) and Direct to Consumer (DTC) channels.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Responsible for updating the Shopify e-commerce website functionality
  • Develop, execute and expand a business to business (B2B) e-commerce marketing plan
  • Evaluate and manage website performance for direct to consumer (DTC) sales
  • Develop, maintain and update website content in conjunction with social media and marketing team
  • Optimize the brand’s SEO and day-to-day eCommerce / website projects
  • Timely and accurate fulfillment of orders
  • Interact with supply chain to ensure availability and replenishment of product
  • Plan and implement promotional activity to accelerate slow to sell products, or modify pricing on high demand items
  • Participate in product selection curation based on market demands, inquiries and needs
  • Leverage website analytics to understand performance and customer interaction to help identify opportunities and conversion optimization
  • A/B Testing, refining UX, site optimization, ensure CRM update with client information
You should have the following in your background to apply:
  • 3+ years of experience in webstore platforms with knowledge of Shopify
  • Working experience of HTML, CSS, FTP and basic edits of webstore templates
  • Support the team with website and product content maintenance (edits, updates, product activation, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative suites
  • Strong knowledge of SEO concepts and implementation of SEO recommendations
  • Adaptable and able to work in a evolving work environment
  • A love of the outdoors, adventure and travel mandatory
