We're partnering with an amazing organization that is in the post-implementation phase of their ERP (Business Central) rollout. While the system has been live for over a year, challenges remain across financial data integrity, ledger accuracy, and reconciliation processes.
They are looking for a hands-on finance professional to step in, diagnose issues, and stabilize the environment.
This is not a "maintain the status quo" role—you'll be brought in to figure out what's broken and fix it.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of financial system integrity within Business Central
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in GL postings, sub-ledgers, and reconciliations
- Perform forensic analysis to identify root causes of mispostings and system gaps
- Partner closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Operations)
- Validate data flow and ensure continuity across systems and processes
- Identify breakdowns in workflows, controls, and integrations—and implement fixes
- Act as the bridge between finance and system stakeholders to stabilize the ERP environment
- CPA designation
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong communication skills—able to translate between finance and technical teams
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel in particular)
- Experience with Moneris or similar payment platforms
- Background in complex GL structures, with high transaction volume
- Prior experience supporting or cleaning up ERP implementations
- High-impact mandate with clear deliverables
- Autonomy to diagnose and fix real business problems
- Direct exposure to senior leadership
- Competitive compensation: $120K-$130K (12-month contract)
