MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our medical distribution client to recruit a Field Sales Consultant to grow and develop a territory across the GTA. This role is focused on driving new business development while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing healthcare customers through consultative, relationship-driven selling.

Some of what you will do:
  • Manage and grow a defined medical sales territory with a focus on increasing market share and customer engagement
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within clinics, healthcare facilities, and medical practices
  • Conduct in-person sales calls, presentations, demonstrations, and customer meetings throughout the territory
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans and account strategies aligned with revenue objectives
  • Build strong long-term customer relationships through responsive service and consultative support
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and support implementation of customer solutions
  • Leverage CRM systems to maintain pipeline activity, customer information, and forecasting accuracy
  • Participate in industry events, educational sessions, seminars, and trade shows to drive awareness and business development
  • Monitor market activity, customer trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal branch, customer service, and leadership teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
You should have the following:
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within healthcare, medical, dental, distribution, or adjacent industries
  • Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close new business within a territory-based environment
  • Strong consultative selling and presentation skills
  • Self-driven, highly organized, and comfortable working independently in the field
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar tools
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to manage priorities and territory planning effectively
  • Post-secondary education in business, healthcare, or a related field considered an asset
  • Medical industry experience is considered an asset but not required
