Field Sales Representative - Cannabis


For the past five years, our client is a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of medical and recreational marijuana in Canada.

We are looking for a Field Sales Representative based in Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales and relationships within retail accounts in the province of Saskatchewan. This is an exciting fast-paced sales environment for a qualified individual that has a relentless passion to foster customer relationships, drive awareness and education in a fact-based manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage all retail customers in an assigned region and ensure the company is at the forefront of share growth
  • Identify new distribution opportunities and build partnerships that maximize profitable share and volume through distribution and merchandising
  • Work in partnership with the retail trade to grow awareness and trial
  • Work in partnership with Key Accounts to effectively educate retail partners within the channel
  • Achieve KPI targets on sales growth; market share growth; best in-class In-store condition; efficient distribution; maximize product placement
  • Selling in new innovation
  • Functions cooperatively and effectively within a team environment; contribute to overall team objectives and dynamics
  • Maintain and accurately track territory sales and activity
  • Track competitive activity and communicate internally and respond quickly if required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Humble, Hungry and Smart
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, or related field
  • Computer literate and able to use MS Office – XLS, Word and PowerPoint
  • 2-3 years Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Beverage Alcohol industry experience an asset
  • Proven track record in achieving sales quotas and in-store condition
  • Exemplary customer service skills, including communication, product knowledge, problem-solving and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work remotely and independent
  • Managing time & prioritizing activities
