Finished Goods Supply Planner

Our Vancouver based client is a leading manufacturer of its products in North America with recognizable brands found in neighborhood pharmacies, grocery stores and other distribution channels across the US and Canada.
Along with a robust private label business this organization is a front-end leader in their market space. The operating climate at this company can be summarized as one which places a massive premium on the development of their people; innovation and continuous improvement of products, processes and operations; and a desire to ensure that the customer is constantly delighted.
They are looking to add a Supply Planner to the Vancouver area team.

  • Work with internal departments / stakeholders to manage the finished goods supply plan with capacity and material planning requirements for production
  • Implement Plan as per the forecast for manufacturing environment
  • Assist with measuring and analysis of Plan
  • Report on metrics and assist with recommendations for improvements of the supply plan for production planning
  • Sales and Operations meeting involvement and regular communication with production, procurement and other internal stakeholders
  • Support unexpected stock out situations to accommodate departments as required

  • Post secondary education in Supply Chain or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years in a similar Planning role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong Excel, Access skills with MRP and ERP systems experience
  • Knowledge of production/manufacturing processes and procurement and inventory
  • Operations Management certification and/or APICS / CPIM Inventory designation an asset
