An exceptional Okanagan winery and farm-to-table bistro is looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to lead its hospitality team. Set on a beautiful vineyard property with an organic garden and greenhouses, this is an opportunity to create memorable guest experiences in one of British Columbia’s most celebrated food and wine regions.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:
- Lead daily front-of-house operations across the bistro and tasting room.
- Recruit, train, schedule and develop a high-performing hospitality team.
- Elevate the guest experience while driving restaurant, wine and wine-club sales.
- Manage performance, labour targets, inventory and operational controls.
- Respond professionally to guest feedback, reviews and concerns.
- Develop and maintain service standards and operating procedures.
- Coordinate menus, features and special events with the culinary and events teams.
- Manage POS configuration, pricing, floor plans and team training.
- Build productive relationships with suppliers and service partners.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety and legal requirements.
- At least five years of restaurant or hospitality experience.
- Previous winery experience.
- Proven experience leading and developing hospitality teams.
- Outstanding communication, customer service and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for food, wine and hospitality.
- Serving It Right and WHMIS certifications.
- WSET Level 2 or higher is preferred; training may be available.
- First Aid Level 1 certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
