They are looking for a General Manager (CAFE BLOOR STREET) who will operate the Cafe, Front of House, and Back of House teams to create an unparalleled guest experience while ensuring a leading class experience for all staff members. The GM will possess exceptional accountability for planning, organizing, and directing all guest services, food and beverage operations, and development processes while achieving optimal guest satisfaction.

Specific responsibilities :
  • Create an environment that is warm, welcoming, and filled with positivity for guests and employees
  • Lead daily operations and design and implement staff training initiatives
  • Provides acts, and reports on proactive strategies to ensure the cost of goods falls within budgeted parameters
  • Assesses staffing requirements on a continuous basis to identify current needs
  • Creates and promotes strategies to improve service and grow business
  • Implements guest recognition programs to enhance the experience and returning costumers
  • Maintain all Health & Safety practices to code
  • Provide catering services to store and external functions
  • Ensure that only the freshest ingredients are utilized
  • Remain current with trends and fashions in food
The ideal candidate:
  • Diploma from a culinary school or institute
  • Fine Dining or luxury hotel restaurant experience is an asset.
  • 5-7 years of restaurant experience
