General Manager Northern Ontario-GM
Our client a North American Foodservice Organization is seeking candidates for the GM opportunity, overseeing Northern Ontario and Responsible for multiple points of Sales including QSR, Casual Dining and catering operations. The GM is accountable for the financial performance and budget for all the concepts and revenue-generating business functions.

This role leads a team consisting of Managers, chefs, a Financial Analyst, a Marketing Manager, and 30+ associates.

  • Develop and maintain a motivational and inspiring ongoing culture, work environment for management and associates
  • Develop and nurture a leadership team, a structure that has clear roles, and responsibilities with success measurements
  • Develop and define a structure and frequency for formal communication with leadership and management team
  • Clarity as to the accountability of individuals on the management team
  • Clearly define leadership team versus management team
  • Immerse yourself in the operations and understand all aspects of the business and deliverables
  • Deliver an exceptional retail experience that reflects our clients’ standards
  • Deliver an exceptional catering experience that reflects our clients’ standards
  • Understand the financial deliverables (budget, margin etc.) & ensure that the business operations meet and exceed the budget.
  • Establish a clear and concise communication plan with clients and the management team
  • The delivery of Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Review all schedules to ensure that all day parts (7 days per week) have effective management coverage.
  • Consistently identify new methods, systems, and technology to advance the overall guest experience, revenues, and margins
  • Be a visible, present, and dominant leader.
  • Clearly define and lead the expectations of the marketing plan ongoing
  • Accountable for the recruitment of the team and ensuring that all Aces are in the required Places.
  • Accountable for coaching and providing direction to the leadership and management team while ensuring communication and relevant information are cascaded as expected.
  • Effectively delegate responsibility but accept full accountability for business outcomes.

The GM role will report to the Regional Director of Operations and will have visibility and communication with the Regional Vice President for Eastern Canada
