Our client is a global manufacturer of commercial & industrial components. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an HR Manager to support their national footprint. The HR Manager, under the leadership of the Director in Toronto, will act as a true business partner and HR generalist for all employee functions including sales, operations, and head office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • You will work with a mature leadership team to help them develop their team members
  • Coaching, performance management, national recruiting are daily functions
  • Day to day will include; benefits, payroll backup, pension, admin, H&S, and other admin
  • Work with the local union, collective bargaining, and employee relations
What you possess:
  • Although this is a stand-alone role must be able to operate in a team environment and work with your Director and other supportive resources
  • University Education preferred or College Diploma in HR/Business
  • HR Designation is an asset (CHRP/CHRL)
  • Must have French language skills
  • Ability to do the work and just get the job done. HR is non stop and a critical function to the operation of the business and your role is key to that success
  • Willingness to go out on the floor, throw on the work boots and hard hat as you interact with the employees within the day to day operation of the business
