Our client is a global industrial materials organization is seeking a Controls and Instrumentation Engineer to support the development and deployment of advanced process control and automation solutions across multiple operations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain PLC, DCS, HMI/SCADA, and APC systems
Support instrumentation calibration, control loop tuning, and process optimization
Develop and maintain industrial data historian systems and data frameworks
Identify and implement automation, controls, and data analytics improvements
Support global standards for control systems, instrumentation, and OT networks
Provide technical support to operating facilities, including occasional on-call support

Qualifications

Engineering degree with training in industrial controls and instrumentation
6+ years of experience in controls, automation, or process engineering within heavy industry
Strong experience with PLCs, APC/MPC, DCS, HMI/SCADA, and industrial data historians
Willingness to travel frequently across North America, with occasional international travel
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
