POSITION: Junior Territory Manager

MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.

We are recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing global manufacturer of medical equipment who is on the hunt for a Territory Manager to manage the central US region.

This is the perfect opportunity for a young professional with 1-3 years of either inside or outside sales experience who wants to break into medical sales as no previous medical industry experience is required!

The company is currently involved in most of the major hospital projects around the globe! In this position, you will target all hospitals in your territory to grow business by expanding existing accounts and growing net new accounts.

Training will be hands-on with direct mentorship provided by the Director of Sales and team of colleagues. You will be given the freedom to make your own decisions to accomplish the corporate
objectives and to run your territory as your own business.

This position does require frequent travel to the US so you must be comfortable spending 3-5 days in the US every month. Day to day when you are not travelling, you will work out of the local office in Richmond Hill with some work from home flexibility 1 day/week.

Qualifications:
  • University or College education
  • 1-2 years of inside or outside sales experience
  • Valid Passport and ability to travel to the US
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to deliver presentations both virtually and in person
  • Highly motivated, competitive personality
  • Hunter mentality and ability to cold call and develop relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
