Key Account Manager - Toronto

Our client is seeking a Sales Executive/Key Account Manager to grow their sales in ethnic imported foods and Health and Beauty Aids working with some of the largest and most sophisticated suppliers globally. Clients you would sell to include all major Grocery, Mass and Drug accounts

This fact based selling role will see you open new business through effective targeting, probing and presentations. You will provide consistent customer service, analytical rigour in category management and will you will close listing gaps with sales programs that drive traffic and consumption.

You should have the following in your background to apply:
  • Excel in getting New Business and growing existing relationships.
  • Exceed sales budgets and volume targets.
  • Negotiate deals acceptable to the company and effectively resolve problems.
  • Prepare weekly activity reports including opportunities, appointment information and other required information and report to management on a weekly basis.
You should have the following in your background to apply:
  • Experience in grocery or CPG sales. Metro, Sobey's, Costco and regional accounts are a asset
  • Solid understanding of the Retail & Food service sales industry & customer knowledge
  • Strong attention to details, organization and time management
  • Excellent teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
  • Clean(ish) drivers abstract
